If a broken boat, stranded, abandoned
Dashed on the rocks of vicious moor
Who is thus to proclaim
That no captain shall swim to shore?
Who would sacrifice so much
For honour's right to drown you so near
The moonlit, murky shore?
And if one captain stood, steadfast and proud
Tied to his mast and telling his mates "go!"
Should the first captain save him? (against the other's wishes)
Or simply watch him drown?
Perhaps it's a test, (whether faith or common sense)
Who would you have lead you forward?
A stubborn old captain, whom the sea holds captive
Or a first mate swimming on forwards?
And the captain waiting
For the sea's fate to claim him
Does he think that heaven shall save?
Oh, what makes him risk it?
Be what he's taught or what he's preaching?
Or maybe he's just a gambler at heart

RAWWWWWGHEHEHRRRR

Hey. I was feeling kind of cryptic, so I wrote a poem that will hopefully make you think.

It DOES have a pretty fixed message though.

If you're going to whine about how you don't get it then I bite my thumb at you, sir. I've been reading Shakespeare. THOSE are mysterious sonnets, dude.

Okay, if you still don't get the poem. It's a statement about the senselessness of following religion blind. (Hence the captain drowning without question)

kay... have fun... pie.

The captain would walk on water and if his mate didn't believe what he saw, he would drown.

That is all.
